You did better than me. I fell asleep in the 1st period. He passed up the chance for the empty netter and the hatty. Maybe he is ready to buy into a team game more so.

 

I hope so. I saw Madden and a few others going back and forth about that on Twitter. I can see both sides. I think Geno to some degree, is who he is. His playstyle doesn't thrive on structure. But it's also unfair to say that him coming back is going to ruin the tighter playstyle that the Pens have been utilizing this year. I guess we will see. I'm glad he's back though. When he is fresh and healthy, I still think he is a difference-maker.

 

Kane has supposedly inked a deal for one year with Edmonton at 1.5 million but nothing is formal until the NHL completes its investigation. He could be suspended for the rest of the year anyways.

I went to bed, the Pens were down 3-0. I wake up and they won 5-3. I will have to watch the highlights on the NHL channel.

 

I saw everything but the 5th goal. The first 2 happened right close to each other and then to start the 3rd Pd they got the 3rd-4th goals right in a short amount of time also. I fell asleep I guess shortly after. I thought it was going to be 1 of those end of road trip games, that we just phone it in. Nice to see them respond like that, after the first Pd.
