I'm not going to comment because i'm not sure what I think about it. I'm happy it didn't count, i can see the argument on both sides though. There was contact, he basically hit Quick right in the head with his elbow, as well as pushed his shoulder, getting him out of position. Crease doesn't matter in this case. Whatever, again, I don't know how much I agree, but I'm just happy it's 3-1 and not 4-1. God damn

Goalie was, that's all that matters, goalie is protected especially while in the crease. Plus, even if Quick was outside the crease, you can still argue the in favor of there being contact and the call.

Unless Quick is out of the crease contact to the goalie and not letting him setup is goalie interference.

I don't get that game here, but it generally has more to do with interferring with the goalies ability to make the save than whether the goalie is in the crease or not.
