What bothers me about that vid is the coach doesn't look too interested in being hit in the head with a hockey stick. Just stands there after with no pain or anger

Who would have thought at the beginning of the season the Caps would be battling it out with FLA for the only playoff spot for that division?

On another note....Pens went 8-1 w/o 2 of their top 3 players.....Not too shabby.

edit: i saw a video and damn that sucks lol. I had missed that last night. It would be interesting to see what the NHL concludes, if it was a glitch on the video or the actual time or what. interesting

 

But in response to the Blue Jackets GM saying the result can have enormous impacts and what not on the standings, there have been a lot of calls that have gone against the kings during OT, bullshit penalties that are clearly bad calls that resulted in goals. It's a break for the Kings for sure, but quite frankly every mistake a ref makes can therefore have an enormous impact. I've always believed the NHL should change the rules on what is reviewable and make penalty shots, penalties in OT, goals like these, and other critical events reviewable, rather than just going with the ruling on the ice. And the score should be altered accordingly.
