That save was so humongous big!

 

That save was pretty epic, it felt like Letang had eternity to get that shot off though. Still cant believe how piss poor the Pens D has played. Both goalies haven't been great, but the Pens D just horrendous. The Pens played their worst games w/o Letang this yr, and now Letang cant do anything in his own end. Its like Beer league.

 

X2 on that save, could not believe he grabbed that. And X2 on everything else! I just don't get it, 1st period they do so good, 2nd and 3rd they fall apart.

 

Lets be honest, Pens will be lucky to come out of Philly with a win. I dont believe their 3 center system is working. Having your 3 best players not on the same line is hurting them. I think they gotta make some changes while they have the talent they have right now to win. Having players like Crosby, Malkin, Letang, Orpik, Fleury, Staal all together and go out in the 1st rnd twice in a row, and the 2nd rnd 2 yrs ago is unacceptable. This team should be in the conference finals every yr or its a failed season. Bottom line.

 

I agree, and ya sad to say, I don't have alot of hope for the next couple games. I have some, but not much. I'm hoping maybe after these couple losses, that they might switch things up. But who knows. What I do know is that I don't want to be stuck with this damn avatar till the cup, so if we can't beat them, I hope someone will soon!

Ya I think then need to turn Staal into a core "go-to" #1-2 defenseman via trade this summer. I know they have depth but the are missing that one piece.

 

Personally, I dont carry wood for any L.A. franchises. Your avi is a dancing banana though, so I imagine the glass slipper might fit

Though it is lookin as though its not gonna happen this year, I prefer to see a Canadian franchise move on. Even if it's roster is over-saturated with foreign players.
