looks like a late hit on an unsuspecting player. The Pens are a very talented team. Winning four straight against the Flyers is awfully unlikely, but winning the next one would be a good show of self respect....I guess Malkin is a typical Russian Hockey player. He only works hard when he gets in the mood for it. ..

I think the Pens will pull a win out tonight, but that will be it. Personally I dont care. Im sick of our system of having our 3 best forwards on different lines. Look at last yr, our 2 best players are out and were done. 3 yrs now we've lost to teams were were lower ranked than us, the system doesnt work. Martin has to go, Malkin or Staal gotta go to bring in 2 or 3 solid forwards and get a big D man. Pens are so small its a joke. Too much talent for us to be this bad.

Looked like Hossa cut back into Torres path, maybe a tad late. either way I always liked Hossa. Him and Crosby were sick that year in the playoffs. That was his best yr too btw.

They're on the same line on the power play, coach.

Nope, Byslma seperated them last game, and it doesnt really matter. Our PP has given more SH goals to the flyers than the Pens have scored.

Hossa plays the game well and with respect for his opponents. I would have him on my team any day. Torres claims he was just finishing his check, but there was no need for him to lay a blind hit at high speed when he could have either eased up or veered off . It was wreckless, though it Doesn't look like direct head contact from the vid i've seen.

MAF is too far gone to bring back now. His head is way out in left field after all the softies he's let in.

Last time I remember hearing those words was this:

Meaning he's got no other defense, nothing else to say to the media to make himself sound like an angel. I'm still waiting for Cooke to snap in the PHI series and two-hand someone's neck.

QFT. The Bruins definitely miss him running the power play from the half wall.

He won't - something about not getting the full value of your contract when you retire. His contract was supposed to expire in 2017 at $4m/season. So by him still being claimed under the Bruins LTIR every season, he's garaunteed that $ from his contract.

I read somewhere there's some bad blood between him and the Bruins though - I'm not sure of details, but he didn't look too happy in the parade last summer

2017? Holy shit! Wouldn't that put him over 40? I can see why there's bad blood. I wouldnt want to pay a guy 4mil that most likely will never play again.
