Leafs have 2 more points than the Canucks in the same amount of games but somehow the Canucks suck and the Leafs are " actually playing pretty good "

Look back a few posts Islander. I think the Canucks and Leafs will end up in similar spots on the outside looking in at the playoffs this year. The difference is that the Leafs will be getting better and play exciting hockey while Vancouver will continue to slide.

 

The only thing Vancouver has to look forward to is declining production from their core with a lack of high end high speed talent to replace them.

They are rebuilding, they just dont admit it to their fans openly. Look at this summer they signed Eriksson. Hes like the perfect guy to play with younger players when they bring them up in the next few years. He knows solid 2 way hockey.

 

CBC should dump Cherry. His time had passed. He's not even close to relevant now.

I don't know man, I agree that he's a great role model but I wonder how serious the Canucks are about a rebuild or if they even have the front office staff to do it right.

For a decade? Last I checked the Leafs only finished last, well, last year lol.
