    Or how about just don't let up until you hear a whistle then they maybe don't score. I defended the Sharks on the Vegas thing but come on. Just play the damn game the right way. If you want to assume it is icing and let up, that's on you. It's always possible that an official waves something like that off.

    I agree one hundred percent. That being said ever since the NHL apologized to Vegas and they made it very public, the NHL has opened the door to more WAH from players, coaches, and owners looking to scapegoat the officials.

    I'm in the same boat but the NHL made this happen. They shouldn't of apologized to Vegas. Blown calls are a part of the game with human refs. You didn't hear the NFL apologizing to teams for that massively blown call in the semifinals in their playoffs.
