Does the OME kit come with a BPV bracket? Otherwise you can get one from BAMF, 30% off right now.

 

No it doesnt come with the kit but I already bought one a while back but I forgot the package on my desk when I left. I'll have to put it on here in my driveway

 

in the 4th to last pic the leafs look flat...are they not on or is it flexed or maybe just the camera angle?? great builded!! looking good. wish i would have put that lift on my 01 but i got the 08 and i'm not putting more love into it than the 01 right now don't forget extended ss brake lines and lcas now!! gonna be sweet!!

 

Thanks. I think I have a couple hundred pounds in the back with my stock wheels, hockey bag, sand bags and other stuff. That might cause it to look like that. Or maybe it's already saggin' looking towards getting headlight retrofits or a regear from the money I'll make this winter from selling firewood and plowing driveways. But for now I'm content

 

That would be why then. Wish I was back in the snow.... I miss hitting the slopes and that fun stuff. Ya I want to retro mine but I think it can wait sometime till I could do it myself and not spend $500 on a pair for someone else to enjoy doing. Regear sounds sweet.

 

Definitely. But for now i'll just have to wait and plan ways to make money. Times are tough and my dad isn't paying his child support so I'm helping my mom out with a few bucks here and there. Might be a while before anything big is put into the truck. And don't get me wrong, my mom makes good money at the bank she works at but everything is so darn expensive these days. But it'll all be good

 

What are your suggestions for getting your speedometer as close to spot on as I can? I know a regear will help but what other ways are there out there? I know this has been beat to death but I want to know what has worked out there for you guys

 

Not sure, but I can tell you with my 33s im about 4-5 mph off. If my speedometer says I'm going 40 mph I'm actually going 45 mph. I always check it with those random police speed limit things lol

 

There's a different speedometer gear you can get. I think you need one more tooth for 33s. Otherwise pick up an ultragauge and calibrate it for the tires.

 

Seems easy enough.

Also, are there any other mods I need to do that are related to the lift ie steering, brakes, drivetrain, etc?

 

I've checked mine with a gps as well and a crap load of police scanners and they've always shown the same change. Lol

 

I have a brand new rear brake extended brake line for sale $20 and if you really wanted it in passing through tomorrow lol

It does wander a little bit I've been noticing, but only on this one dirt road I've driven on. Not sure if its the ruts or the steering

It's from LC Performance. It's steel braided. I had to order the whole kit but I only needed the front ones lol I was trying to find someone local so I don't have to ship it.

 

If you hold on to it I will be in Denver in January I believe. I can get that from you and you can watch a hockey game lol
