I was original owner of a ‘98 2.7 L SR5 for 21 years, added custom leaf springs based on the weight of the truck empty, and then with about 600 lbs in the bed, which gave it a 4” lift, eventually replaced the front struts with an ICON coil over which lifted the front 4”. Loved it ... it served my purpose ... 325k miles, was looking forward to putting another 200k on it until I had a mental breakdown and traded it in on 2019 v6 double cab, auto trans. I really tried to make it work for me, but after 6 months, I’ve decided I won’t be happy without a 1st Generation 2.7L 4x4, manual trans, extended cab. So ... finally joining TW. My 2019 should be sold in a couple days and I’m looking for a well cared for 2.7L 1st Gen 4c4, manual trans, extended cab in Southern California.

Thanks for the welcome greetings. If I had joined TW last year, I’d probably still have my ‘98
