Your truck and you did awesome at Rush too! You made it up peanut butter hill that other trucks with lockers and mud tires had to be winched up. So there's that.
    Small victories

You get to a point where you know just the right angle to sit, where to have your hand in the steering wheel and just kind of flop out in the 2nd gen. The second gen is like a recliner youve sat in everyday for 10 years, other recliners are softer or more comfortable, but they don't feel "right". I haven't driven to many cars that had a more natural feeling seating position. Except early 2000s gm trucks.
I know what you mean about driving these and feeling at home.

I had a blast in your truck Ev! Sideways views and all! Don't think I don't love you too floperator, gheyness and all!

Don't let my personal/truck disappointment get in the way of the fun I still had at AOP. The adventures rule, and you guys do too. Kinda.

    Ha! Yup.

That incident is partly why I am going bonkers with wanting to wheel in my own rig. You really should have seen some of the stupid places I got that 5 lug truck.

    I can drive.

Toyota Fan Boy through and through. There is Yota. Then everyone else.

You hit the nail on the head pretty well. 2nd Gens are "at home" for me. When I got my green truck last year I had zero interest in test driving it. I did test drive it, cause. But I told the guy "Dude, I have spent years n years around these trucks, I don't need to test drive it. I know what I'm buying" I could never walk on another brand dealer lot with the same confidence/attitude.

Chebby is about the only other truck I can stand driving. I'd never go back to one now, but I have owned a S10 and a Blazer. Their crappy, they all get same problems and their not a total PITA to fix.

    3 weeks to LBL.

Wonder what kind of Tacoma I'll show up in :anonymous:

A green one. Or a single cab one.

This has to be the longest build thread ever of a truck that doesn’t exist. Haha

I do admire your patience. If it were mine, that parts pile would have been on the green truck faster than @beertimecontinuum can trash an engine.
