The green truck has a MGM rear bumper now, yes. I like the green/gray combo and it goes with the stock grey middle valance to which I Gunmetal derp'd the grille and emblem.

No rear bumper on the SC now. Didn't want to beat up the MGM bumper, so I got it off and onto the green truck. Don't have anything to put back in it's place right now. Will eventually go with a High Clearance Rear. Will be one of sooner things I do.

Oh okay. The way I read your post was, you put the bumper from the DC on the RC.

At least you'll have better departure angles than most of us without the rear bumper :D

No doubt! You'll be doing donuts around trees while the rest of us have to pivot on sliders

The wheelbase and off road agility of the single cab was truthfully a big part of this whole ordeal.

Always been a sucker for a single cab is the other part.

This thing is almost just like being back in my 5 lug. Just with 4x4 parts and suspension. Same bench seat, same middle console setup.

Its been a major help in getting used to the manual tranny. Its not an unfamiliar truck with an unfamiliar transmission. I am able to really concentrate on practicing.

There have been many times in my short 4x4 experiences the last 354 days when I felt a reg cab would dominate! You got this man!

Again, don't get down on the 1st to 2nd shift. As Gid told me, more or less, it will never be that smooth. Still isn't for me, the rest are pretty smooth unless I'm lackadaisical or trying to get my turd up to passing speed and driving aggressive.

Going pretty well getting the hang of the manual. Gone out for at least 20/30 minutes every day other than yesterday.

It ain't to shabby. It's a cheaply lifted truck with oversized MT tires. Not quite your 5spd FRS or anything. :D

Looking forward to the weekend. Been getting home later this week, haven't done anything other than drive around. Been getting back down in the 30's too.

    Would like to do:
    -Oil Change/fluids check
    -Clean up/Vacuum Out
    -Wash engine bay
    -Front end shake down.
-Balance tires/Check out front end if wheels will be off.

Didn't wheel really. A confidence gaining/getting comfortable trip for me more than anything. Accomplished that goal and am looking forward to the next trip. Was uncomfortable hitting trails without knowing how my truck handled or how to properly use a manual off road.

A lot to do to until the next trip. Planning how I'd like to go about everything.

As noted earlier in the thread, I did buy the truck with a cracked bed. It was rear ended. It's cracked all the way across. Luckily, good TW buddy, Robertocrister, has a full size composite bed from when he chopped off the back end of his truck. I will put his composite bed back into use and it will be used as the replacement for my currently cracked bed.

I will be keeping a bed. No flat bed or anything. Could use the space of the bed #1 and I like the look with the bed still a part of the truck. The Bedsides will be high clearance cut.

This is the nice part of having 2 trucks. I don't have to worry about my truck being down. I can throw this truck up on stands for a couple weeks while I take my time and build the truck and have the Green Truck for DDing.
