That's right! It was just the inner composite shell you needed.

    Yessir!

It's sorta funny. When one googles "Tube Bed (Truck)", the results include a high number of single cab trucks. Their cool looking but I am a regular bed kind of fellow.

    Random shit:
-I ditched my tent I have been using the past few trips. The "A" style entry was 2 mesh flaps that zipped horizontal and diagonal from inside the tent to only basically keep bugs out simply covered with tent fabric that only zipped diagonal and not horizontal, thus letting water easily into the tent. I either need a bigger tent or a different sleeping arraignment all together, ie: small camper, softtopper and sleep in the bed (another part of why I don't want to get rid of the bed). I need to figure this out out by AOP.

-Happy with the truck and how it's performing for the most part. The build part feels good really, it's the 400 pounds of unsprung weight on E and D rated tires on a single cab truck with no bed that make it ride like a old rented mule still. If the road sucks, my ride sucks. If the road isin't to bad, it's livable.

-Been back in service for 2 weeks basically. All last week with a Friday break. Changed the LF hub and eyeball aligned over the weekend. Just didn't feel right. Been my main kicks to work/DD. Green baby getting a needed odometer rest.

Get a topper. That extra 300lbs + or - mames a huge difference in ride quality.

I couldn't do a hardtop. To me, it's limiting. Would have to be soft top, with easy set up. So I could take down for wheeling, up for sleeping.

Torn even then. It would suck to break down on a trail at AOP, have to leave truck through the night and have my sleep situation become a burden on someone.

I think about dumb shit to much.

Why would you want it down for wheeling? Like sleeping in mud and tree branches much?

Have also considered this part. Topper just isn't my style to begin with. But I try to look at most options

I will end up with a 6 person tent most likely. Something big enough to where tent sides are not in my face when sleeping.

Drove down to Levi's yesterday and picked her up. Finally.

6 hrs to/from. Left at 8am. Got home a little after 11pm. Truck did really well. Made it there and back, can't ask for much more. Road in Ohio are just crappy. Rough roads and ride down through Ohio but once in KY/IN, road quality greatly improved, and so did the ride.

My headlights are a joke. They need to go. I'll have to take a picture of the fucked up beam these things throw.

I gotta say, you started off so far from a finished truck, I was skeptical it would see the road in 2 or 3 years, much less this fast. Starting to resemble a decent ride! Good job!

Fugg yeah! And fugg that! I bought it to wheel. And drive. Not be a yard ornament.

The few months it was down felt like 2/3 years. Wait for this part. Wait for that part. Wait to have money for parts

We had to strap the tailgate on. Lock Catches bolt to the bedsides. Which we took off.
