Anyone who could throw an assist this way, would be greatly appreciated!!

Playing around with the Lock Right/Install instructions. Pic in the booklet may as well be a black square, so TW it is! This "spacer" thingy, I have it installed/positioned correctly, correct?

That's how I put mine in and it's working fine. Also Justin told me to use a diff oil made for an lsd diff but didnt listen. Instead put a quart of Lucas in the diff to thicken the oil. I honestly dont even hear it click unless I'm really listening for it with the windows down. Even then, it's a very faint click.

Appreciate the replies and assist fellas! For $400 you'd think they could provide an actual colored picture in the instructions. It is 2018 after all.

Lol! Totally forgot about that one. See. Useful. Sometimes. Yours was easier than mine was! I beat on mine for like 15 minutes, like a mofo. Once I saw gear lube starting to drip out though, it was like blood in the water to a shark.

I hit on mine on multiple occasions over the period of 3 weeks with no luck. In between that time I had multiple other people beat on it during that time with no luck. I think you were the 3rd to give a try at aop and the only one out everyone to get it to pop. I was starting to lose hope.

Glad to have helped! I like helping and lending a hand as much as possible. I guess I've always kind of had a knack for being able to step in and help out in a tough spot, like your CV not coming out for anyone. I got a lot of "Hey, can you see if you can get this stupid bolt in" in my auto career, cause I have little girl hands that fit in tiny spaces.

Lock Right is installed and everything is back together. Wheels back on the ground. No test drive until tomorrow, need to go get some Gear Lube. Figured the overnight stint in a empty diff would give the thread locker (ring gear and carrier bridge bolts, pinion pin) and RTV (3rd gasket) a nice change to fully cure up.

Ran into a couple snags. Broke 2 brake line bolts off, still have one per side though. Also, in a crappier topic, 2 transfer case flange to driveshaft studs were stripped out and are jacked. One stud was actually loose, as I found out when I put some wrenches on it.

Which leads me to...I need to decide if I'm going to pull the trans and do a clutch while I have the driveshaft off anyway. The little loose TC flange stud though...has given me a slight hope that maybe, just maybe that is the culprit to the rattle/chatter I have been hearing. It's not. But I can hope. Will start the truck up tomorrow while the driveshaft is out and put it through a couple gears and see if I still hear the chattering.

This poor truck, it's seen so much abuse. Every time I dive into something I find some kind of BS going on, but also, once it's fixed up, the truck seems to run better.

My truck was babied till I got it. Unfortunately I just rolled over that 200k mark and all the neglected maintenance is catching up with me.

Back on the road this afternoon. Screwed around a lot today and was honestly probably putting it off some due to not knowing what the hell I just got myself into and how the truck is going to drive. Couple simple turns around the block. Hear it clicking on turns.
