Depends. You could be shot in the femor artery, which would pump out your blood pretty quick, but you would still be alive when you hit the ground. Until all of your blood left your body.

That's how Sean Taylor of the Redskins died.

well no sometimes they make it to the ambulance...and sometimes they dont make it to the ground

regardless...the responsible parties should suffer the same fate

to top everything else off...i found out tonite from my parents that my uncle is in the hospital...has been since wed of last week...

he apparently fell and hit his head...woke up fine tues morning...went to bed tues night with a headache...aunt couldnt wake him up wed morning...ambulance came...he's been unresponsive since...they performed surgery on his head and drained the large puddle of blood that was built up between the brain and skull...but he has yet to regain consciousness...and the drs cant figure out why and theyre not real positive on the situation

hey man, im wishing the best for your uncle.............but the news you gave isnt very hopeful from what the dr's have said. when my grandma died a little over 2 years ago.........she didnt fall or anything, but she was basically "dead" for about 6 hours before the nurses could get her breathing on her own again, so basically she was braindead, and would have lived the rest of her life as basically....a mushroom.....invalid. it was a hard decision for my mom and aunt to make...taking her off the breathing machine, then 2 minutes later....she was gone outta our world. i hope things happen better and differently for your uncle, bro! it aint fun at all to deal with man.
