After all that rain we had this week, it was surprisingly still pretty firm

VT has a pretty good agricultural/grounds management program, and they've got the drainage pretty dialed in for the field

It was more about not being at Chris' house. But yes, VT has a well-respected agriculture program. :)

Most my jokes go over folks' heads. I'd much rather be at Chris's. Instead I'm getting drunk at a wedding.

I dont remember if I said thanks for the help getting up that hill and unfucking my winch Bill, Duan, Greg. I really appreciated the help, and the patience you all had with me. It was nice to finally meet you Greg.

It was good seeing all of yall that came out. I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with all of you.

Thanks for putting it on @3pooches and please let shannon know I appreciate all the hard work she put in on the food.

I'm looking forward to the next event you decide to put on. Hopefully by then @Mojo Jojo will have his suspension on an @03dumdum will have 35s.

@TaKoToy I forgot to mention I had a sledge in my truck you could have used on your spindle....sure that would have helped lol

Likewise Nick (or not that Nick!!), glad to finally cross paths and see the new suspension flexing! It was also great meeting @Tiny's Taco and Andy and Heather and seeing their T4R getting dirty, breaking in that new winch bumper combo!!

I always enjoy learning and practicing off-road recovery, especially in the dark while ill prepared in the woods at night (left headlight, flashlights and bug spray at camp)!!

Wish we could've stayed the night, but nevertheless we had a blast!!

As always, really appreciate Chris and Shannon's generosity and hospitality!!

Probably would have helped if I hadnt bent the winch connector pins, and the winch controller would have actually worked when I hit the button. I'm pretty sure there is a something wrong with it this point.

    Again, thanks for the assist

@Hafaday, I think I’ve learned my lesson. No matter how much I want it to be a dirt bike, it’s just a different animal haha.
@Tiny's Taco thanks again for helping me back the bike down in defeat on the easiest failed hill climb ever.
@3pooches, I would gladly pay (possibly to help fund 4 point harness) to ride the “twisty taco-aster” at the playground again. It was freaking sweet man!

Next time I’ll have to stick around for fun winching the dark, sounds like a blast! Hah

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Chris and Shannon, thank you soooo much for this weekend. When I got home, after two hours of 81, Gwen said I looked happy and and relaxed. And I felt it. I could have parked the truck yesterday and been fine. Thank you.

Great to see everyone and really enjoyed the company.

Got up and took a little walk this morning. The pics kind of sum up my weekend.

I did have to stop on the way home today. Had a strap break on the tent on 81. Fortunately, the rest stop was about a mile away.
