For a little something different, a friend / coworker is stationed overseas. He had his Honda Civic at Nurburgring over the weekend. 128 mph and passed four cars. upload_2021-9-27_9-56-24.jpg

That would be my ultimate bucket list item to drive on an F1 Grand Prix track. Ideally with something more exotic than a civic, but I have to say, that one looks pretty well setup.

It is. He bought the top model and did a bit of work to it before he left and shipped it overseas. I had a chance to some laps at the MIS driving school a few years back. That was surprisingly different than what I expected. Narrow fields of vision, incredible horsepower, and quite the safety brief, including the "push here in case of fire" demonstration.

Yes, it does, but I didn't get it when I had it replaced so I have the Gopro mount with 3M tape. Until I have to get it replaced again.

    Just the cool ones.

    Edit: mine doesn't have one!

Greg, I have your hat that I found in my truck. It's packed with my camping gear for the next trip.

True...but it makes off-road lighting an even higher priority. Plus I realized of the vehicles out there, only Chris had any auxiliary lighting!

Of course I got out to Rt.600 and realized I didn't take a single pic or video, even after doing the double check that I had the gopro and the mount to put it on the DMM for a few laps around the pasture.

If we hadn't been going for the hill climb, I would have had my truck with lights and a winch and recovery boards. I considered breaking camp and bringing it to the top of the hill until Nick made it back.

Maybe next time we should break out the radios. I had mine and also never turned it on.

Great photos! Glad the ratchet strap saved the day, and at least some documented "mud on truck" photos!
