Hole in AC condenser

    Who knows how much pressure on the AC condenser , I have a leak . Must have been a rock punched a hole in it . I am debating trying to fix it ?

    If you know the leak is in the condenser just replace it, its probably cheap enough that fixing isn't worth it. If you don't know for sure get a can of refrigerant with the dye in it and put it in there to find the leak. IMO a/c leaks are easy enough to fix DIY, but then take it in to have a negative pressure put on it and recharged.

    pay the deductible, have the insurance fix it under comprehensive. rock pitched at you from another auto. Ski

    You need the special 1234yf refrigerant. You can replace the condenser yourself but I would have it recharged professionally for piece of mind.
