    You can carefully pop out the old metal cap plug and reinstall in the new one. They are in there pretty good and may get a little bent up though.

    Fortunately the parts from O'Reilly came with hole plugs. Both sides are as sealed as they can be until I swap.

    Thai vs Chineseum makes a difference.
