I've been getting a lot of water on my floor board, and its got to the point where i can take out my mats and stomp my feet and water will fly everywhere. Anyone have ideas of why this is?
    Thanks,
    Ken

Is this a 1st or 2nd gen? Is the water only in the front or in the backseat (if you have a backseat)?

A few months ago I ran into the same issue with my '08 DC. I took it to the dealership, and it ended up being the gromet around the radio antenna. They ended up having to replace the entire carpet under warranty, and I haven't had any problems since.

Do you have any windows that are leaking? Remember water will travel down not up so most likely the origination of the water leak is not on the floor. Look along the firewall and the backside of the front wheel wells. Is the whole floor wet? Is it just wet on a specific side? Are you leaving the windows down when it's raining(have to ask)?

It could either be the AC tube came undone from the fire wall (it would only be the passenger side though) or the windshield seal is compromised.

Just 2 weeks ago I had my windshield replaced, but it has been leaking before the replacement.

Take your front seats out, and ask a friend to take a hose and spray your truck. Sometime there is a leak in the fire wall behind the heater unit due to bad welding or a spot left un-welded in a seam.

This sounds EXACTLY like what happened with my '08. I would take it to the dealership and have them check it out. They ruled out the windshield first, mentioned nothing about the A/C, and then started taking out the entire interior.

I've been to the dealer and they sprayed a hose on the top of my truck, but couldn't find anything. They also told me to clean out a little hose under the hood, and I did, but it didn't change anything. I don't think the A/C could cause so much water during a rain or does it?

If your truck is under warranty, I would tell them to fix it...

That's exactly what mine smelled like, mixed with mildew. I didn't think they were telling the truth with the antenna grommet, but you should check it out...

My 1997 Tacoma did the same thing. It was the pinchweld along the rocker panel.

NOTE: this was not an 08 tacoma. Just maybe check out your rocker panels.

Thanks for throwing out ideas, I'm going to print out what you guys had to say and show it to the dealer tomorrow. Hopefully they will find the problem and I will let you guys know when I find out.

The AC will run anytime you set the heater controls to defrost or Defrost/Floor, it is used to dry the air before blowing on the window.

Take it back to the dealer and tell them to fix it

For the leak to be HVAC related and for both sides of the floor to be wet it would have to be over the tranny hump.
