    Indeed, very cool. checking the lake data, it has been rising ~1/2 a foot per day while and since we were there. Currently 56% full and 80' below full.

    i'll have to dig up my pics from alstrom in Nov and you can see where the water was...will be interesting to see the change

    glad you guys were able to see those areas...very easy to fall in love with that area...never enough time to explore though

    Here is yours, water level just a bit higher. I wish there was more access to the lake itself given how many countless miles of trail are in UT, I am amazed that there are not more access points, especially on the east side.

    Yeah, that is where we camped the night after Alstrom and spent the day on the beach there. It was alright there, but lacked the awesome views and red rock that is around the rest of Powell.
