Holes for my roof rack.

I am going to drill holes in my 01 tacoma for a thule roof rack. Does anybody have any suggestions for where to drill and where not to drill?

 

If you're installing on the cab I can't help ya, but I have done a few on camper shells over the years and it's super easy. Either way, if you're drilling holes measure three times before doing any drilling, and tape the area so the paint doesn't chip when you drill.

 

absolutely take your time in measuring, you do not want to mis-drill holes into your roof!!

also be sure not to drill too deep, it could poke through your ceiling liner and that would not be cool.
