I’d love to but time with my son changed and I’ll be spending time with him on Saturday and not Sunday.

    I post this in love

A few years ago I did a run and over 25 trucks showed up, and everything became a cluster fuck. Don’t want that to happen again

Typically a good size group is 3-4. I’ll take 4-5 trucks out, then one more for myself, so 5-6 total max. Then @BulletToothTony can count outside those because if he needs help we should probably reevaluate anyway

With more than 6 or so trucks spotting becomes crazy and all of a sudden we’re moving so slow we hardly get to hit any trails. Saturday I’ll have Mike to help spot but he’s probably going to tail gun so when he’s spotting he’s not moving himself. Even 6 trucks is outside what I would normally suggest, but I don’t want to exclude people.

Since Zeb isn’t coming to spot as well I just want to make sure things go smoothly is all. If we hit our estimated 40 or so trucks, I just want to suggest people in different groups split up into smaller groups as well... I know it’s not my run, I’m just trying to provide insight after learning this stuff the hard way

We can all gather for a dope ass group photo at tower though to show the scale of the run :fistbump:

Both times I've gone with some of y'all we had what I think was success doing 1 or 2 trails with a group of 10 but then split so the crazies could do the big stuff.

That said I like the idea of going in slightly smaller groups. My biggest issue is I don't want to get lost out there. :anonymous:

Getting lost makes it an adventure :smokertransformer:

I know a lot of what I said goes without saying I just don’t want people to get mad because they wanted to do harder stuff then get turned down simply because of group size... there can always be more than one rowdy group anyway

I agree with this. More than 5 makes for very slow runs with spotting involved. I have no problem with leading a small group but also don't want to always have to lead. A big group to the tower is good with me since it's a main road and no spotting should be needed unless someone wants to have some fun on the 1 or 2 obstacles along the road.

It's the only way I know. I'll be looking into this "wildcat" option.

Yeah might have to skip that one. My passenger doors are beat up already though. I'll at least come watch your group take it on!
