Hollister Day Trip planning?

Id like to try to plan a day trip out to hollister (or somewhere else fairly local. open to ideas)
what days tend to work best for you guys? Id love to see some of your rigs and hit some trails!

Im in! its a little harder for me between work and class but I have some days off I can take. Maybe the end of the month like weds 31 or thurs nov 1? well have to see what works best for everyone. I wanna get out and see all of your guys toys

Does TF usually close the whole park to the public?

Last weekend was cool. Just went to the top to have lunch and then went to the 4x4 area to mess around. Nothing too fancy

doubt they'd close the park but im sure it'll be busier and more crowded than usual on the trails/obstacle courses
