I'm thinking of coming down tomorrow. My main goals would be:
    • not rip off the flares since I haven't upgraded my tired original suspension and the KO2s are much larger
    • check out the various HAM setups (studying for my license and want to set my truck up eventually)
    • get some experience with my truck on something more than this (near Yosemite):

Cool Jason, come on out. You'll be fine and I know some guys have ham radios. Meet up with our group at that Safeway in Morgan Hill, you can see the address on the first page of this thread.

I don't have a compressor. What is my best plan for airing down and re-inflating before I get back on the highway? Drive slowly and safely to Hollister and fill up there?

I did the 2-low mod tonight and just taped the plugs to keep them clean. Hopefully I will find 2-low more useful than my rear locker tomorrow since unplugging the blue plug on my push-button transfer case removed the ground that the locker switch relies on...

If so, I'll be crawling under the truck tomorrow to plug it back in for now. Grey wire mod soon once I get a ring terminals to use to ground the connection.

My gray wire mod would make you cringe... Hint no terminals :)

Yeah, I could go out and do it in the driveway right now - I have connectors and wire, but I'm a bit OCD when it comes to wiring.

It goes back to my days in college with many low voltage wires running about...
