Someone in the lead decided that we had to reverse up the (rather tight) trail, rather than continuing. I was behind Dylan, focused on my own maneuver, when I next looked forward he was way off to the left of where he should have been. Initial attempts at recovery made it worse. Someone came up with the idea of assist from uphill; all available straps were deployed. Jay did the pull from on high and TaCo ADDICT still has a truck. Awesome.

How Dylan got that far off track initially is the matter of some speculation.:)

I was in front of him backing up. I saw he was hanging out the window pushing branches off of his truck while trying to maneuver his truck backwards. It went from front driver wheel off the trail to almost losing his truck. Funny thing was I had a winch in front,Eric had a winch from behind and in no way could we utilize either.

Next time I would much prefer the pin stripes>losing my whole truck, it was driver error I wasn't paying much attention to the left side of me

I'll just pat myself on the back for that idea.. hehe!

I didn't think it would work at first, it looked too far from the top part of the trail. Then everyone started pulling straps out of their ass! Glad we had a organized team of members; everyone seemed to have some type of recovery equipment, well done!
