It's really out in the middle of nowhere, especially coming from the bay area, significantly smaller than HH, but perhaps a bit steeper on average. I picked up a few pinstripes and got to learn how my elocker worked. It was fun for a couple of hours and I'd stop by again if I were in the area (see above) but probably wouldn't go out of my way to hit it.

For Folsom, you're probably thinking of Prairie City. Haven't driven in there, but from driving by, it looks like a big field with some dunes and a bunch of ruts. Frank Raines at least has a hill.

Has some really cool trails with nice views and ran threw some water n mud. It was my first time meeting up with this group and they were cool down to earth guys. Had to leave early so didn't get to see all of it but I would recommend itIMG_0400.jpgIMG_0396.jpg IMG_0399.jpg IMG_0402.jpg

Man, I wish I would have seen this thread earlier. I would have gone for sure. Looks like you guy had a blast.
Please let me know the next time there's a meetup planned in Nor Cal/Bay Area.
    Thanks!

Sept 30 might work for me - I'm new to the area - I'd be okay with any location that I can do in a stock Baja

    Those dates work for me.
If we're looking for a different place, this might work:
    Carnegie State Vehicular Recreation Area
I've never been there, but it looks similar to Hollister Hills SVRA.

    Not an overbrander.
Just a heads up: Carnegie does not have trails. They just have a small 4x4 area for trucks. Trucks are only allowed on the main roads and 4x4 area; all trails are for ATVs and dirt bikes.

that could be an option...Also knoxville recreation area, prairie city, frank raines? I'm new here so haven't been on any of these trails, but will do some research.

Any others with input to good trails within 2-3 hours of the Bay Area ? We can compile a list of options, and then vote on where everyone wants to go

I'm down with meeting up anywhere in the Bay Area as long as the trails are legal and accessible by a stock truck.
Does anyone have a membership to trails.com? I used to use that for mountain bike trails and it's pretty good.

wow just watched a video some tacomaworld guys made of Slick rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1OKNnJxKTqA

looks sick! but i think it may be a little too difficult for a lot of our trucks? looks like you need a pretty built rig to make it

Only think 2 trucks out of the crew we went with last time could make that.

Hey @justin808 want to start a new thread with a poll for a few locations. Gauge interest in locations and tag the users in this thread? (I'd do it myself but you're way more savvy with this than me)

Slick Rock looks pretty cool, but I've still got my off-roading training wheels on, so to speak.
