Hollister Hills SVRA 1/7/17

Yep. It'll be my first time with the tent in the rain. Heater and giant sleeping bag + whiskey + Kindle Fire, ill watch movies and enjoy the evening alone .

@2015whitetaco Lemme know asap what days you're coming. If you're only coming for a day trip on Saturday I'll bring my grill stuff

 

I'm coming either way. Rain is no biggie. There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.

I have to work on Saturday till 3pm and I'll head down after. I should be there by 4:30.

Does anyone have a large tarb and a pole. We can bungee the tarp between two trucks and put a telescoping pole in the middle, or a stick or whatever.

 

No, but I'm bringing my EZUP. SO depending on what campsite we end up at we might need it. If we have 4+ trucks Saturday night, we can try to grab the larger camp next to the one I usually go to and park side by side near the fire pits

 

Now that I'm thinking of it.....I cut a bolt off my truck and dropped it on my folded tarp and burned a hole through it. It has like 6 holes in it now. I need to replace it anyway. I'll swing by harbor frieght this week and pick up a new one. My old tarp is only 8 feet and for working under my truck. I've been wanting a bigger one for when it rains.

If I can figure out what is making a noise in the rear of my truck then I'm probably down.

I'll be there Friday mid day till Sunday, probably. Meet up at Sycamore Campground in Upper Ranch at say 10 AM Saturday for those coming. If it rains much ill stick to the easy stuff

if I'm not able to go maybe @VolcomTacoma can bring it back because I'm much closer to him

Still in, depending how sick of the rain and mud I get during the during the week. Hasn't been too bad so far, but haven't had to worm around in any mud or car guts (oil, or other fluids) of any crashes yet this week.

 

I think we'll be fine. Its gonna be muddy, but if we stick to the light trails we can still have a good time! And camping will be great!

 

@VolcomTacoma I've been given the all clear. All I need to do is get the co2 tank filled and we'll be good.

Does Hollister have a place where I could air up?

 

Awesome! They do. Right at the main gate they have free air hoses available for airing up.
