    Everything's been great!

Just got back from Moab with several buddies, building up a 4R since I accidently sold the Tacoma

Long story short, got offered cash.

Said fuck it, I'll do it.

I had the Tacoma that was going to be my armored grocery getter, and 4Runner that I was going to turn into my off road rig. Was nice having both though...

The Taco when I last hit HH with @Toki

    And the 4R now

Well I can't argue with that logic! Looked like a sweet little rig though. 4runner looks good too!

So the website for Hollister says they're limiting visitation due to Covid.

Anyone know of people actually getting turned away on weekends?

Are those OEM UCAs? What setting you have those kings set to?

They are; I've had Icon uniball UCAs sitting new in box in the closet since last year..just too busy to install among other things.

King fronts I need to lessen the preload; I'm at roughly 2 1/4" to 2 1/2" higher than stock up front. That's how they were set by King.

looks nice! Been keeping an eye out for a good set of coilovers. My front suspension is definitely tired and the added weight of skids don’t help much

    Thanks

I purchased them just to compare them to the Fox 2.5 I had on my Tacoma, but ended up installing them on the 4R instead.

Don't plan on a bumper but will add an aftermarket skid plate; shouldn't be enough to warrant adjusting again later.

I love going fast through 'whoops', washboards, and anything else bad as everything soaks up nicely.

There were some trails we went pretty quick on while at Moab and my passenger was just thoroughly impressed the entire time; especially when dropping off ledges but I'd thank my Duro bumpstops more for that.

Wish I had enough cojones to go thru washboards and the like at a decent speed...I used my 17 Tacoma for that but now that I’m in something old I want to take it easy on the grandpa :(

Had 262k miles on the 4R before the 30 hour trip (15hrs each way), not to mention the weekend spent wheeling. 265k miles once I got back home.

Only issue I had was an ECT ($33 part) that went bad 2 days after I got back

Nice! Yeah...currently sitting at 237K miles and need to get the front suspension components dialed in (LCA bushings, steering rack bushings, UCA and coilovers)

Do it all in one go like I almost did!

I need to do my UCA's already and my steering rack has a bit of play so I need to do those bushings as well.

Sway bar got ditched but I left the rear in since it hasn't been a limiting factor for me (yet).

yep! Planning on gathering all front components to do it all at once instead of doing things piecemeal. Learned my lesson on my 17 taco before!
