I follow Hollister Hills on IG and notice that only Lower Ranch reaches max capacity; it's nice going during the week cause no one is there.

    Got to enjoy lunch undisturbed

You need a drone. Go grab the DJI Mini 2. Cheap enough now, small footprint and good for what you'll want it to do.
    https://www.dji.com/mini-2?site=brandsite&from=nav

If you want to save a little and don't care about the latest/greatest - go with the Mini. Costco has it for about 100 bucks less.

Went to hollister hills this past Saturday w my brother in law. At the park one of his coolant hoses had a faulty clamp so we had to cut the trip short. To the guy with the gray lifted 2nd gen taco who helped us out, if you’re here sorry I didn’t get your name but thanks again.

Got out there today with @Dex__43. I swear the hard copy maps are off. Is there a Gaia version or something similar yall use? Pushed my truck to hard and dented my driveline and now got vibes. I'll figure out how to get it fixed. Lesson learned. VideoCapture_20210328-134330.jpg VideoCapture_20210328-134635.jpg Resized_20210328_103134.jpg 20210328_101949.jpg 20210328_091408.jpg

fine in most areas. you can have some fun even on a stock 4x4. Some areas no 4x4 some solid skinny pedal will do most of the time.

Hell, I did blue trails on a 2 wheel drive.

You'll be fine, everything is marked and there are trails markers as well at each turn.

Definitely reassuring. I guess my main concern is damaging a brand new truck but it sounds like I’d be fine.

Just assume you will, otherwise don't take it out at all.

I've been out there many times, one time was with a guy that had just bought his new Tacoma and he got a lot of pinstriping. I felt bad but he said he expected it otherwise he wouldn't have gone out with us.

Not every trail is marked at each intersection. When you are unsure I'd recommend pulling over and walking it a bit. Few times I turned onto the wrong trail and came up to a black diamond obstacle, where backing out/turning around was difficult.
