I think those clamoring for a 4th Gen Tacoma and those with good to very good means, got theirs already. I think concerns about tariffs, interest rates, and the economy in general are going to put a damper on these high-ticket items for many. Those of you actively shopping should find some good deals though.

If I hear another person cry about tariffs I’m going to puke. When shit is expensive don’t buy it very simple solution. It’s like people have never seen prices go up and down give it a rest and wait a bit things will get better. Plus a hard pass on the 4th gen for me every time I see one drive by I think it’s a Chevy plus my trucks paid for.

That was during Covid. Let’s compare to when I bought my 2019 new and had my choice of Tacomas for 5k below msrp.

The question was why are there 254 Tacomas on the lot or in transit/production at Mountain States Toyota? Tariffs impacting discounts may or may not have something to do with it.

Maybe when Wilsonville stops slapping on spacer lifts and 35” tires and calling it a $6500 accessory add on they’ll get through some inventory.

Agree with your sentiments on tariffs AND I wish Toyota would’ve put the 4th Gen engine/tranny in the 3rd Gen model and I’d still have my 3rd Gen, as it’s much better looking…

In the TFL video Andre increases credibility by stating "I do not work here, and I am not an industry analyst".

Mountain States Toyota is owned and operated by Sonic Automotive. They're the best Toyota dealership in Colorado because they don't over charge for MSRP. Technically its a distribution point for other Sonic dealers, but people from Wyoming and etc, come down just to shop there. They have a very good reputation

I hope for Toyota that this 4 Gen is gonna be a big seller. I was looking into maybe replacing my 2021 TRD Sport with Premium Package and the difference is 25,000 more for the 2025 then I paid for in 2021. I walked away and not looking back. Prices have gone crazy.

It's most likely a drop off point for further distribution to other nearby dealers. I don't think one dealer can handle the inventory carrying cost for such a large fleet of similar trucks...

If these numbers are to be believed, the $45.3K in 2021 becomes $53.1K today when factoring canadian inflation.

If the MSRPs are incorrect, what are they?

Yes, the 3rd gen Taco in the photo looks like the Chevy.

Same number of wheels, same number of doors, bed in the back, headlights in the front. Complete copy. No originality.

Amusing part is the photo is in reference to MadKatt's comment about the 4th gen when he drives a 3rd gen:
