The interior of that Tundra sure looks nice. Is it more comfy than the Tacoma?

Very roomy but the leather seats needs time to be broken in. It has power seat too (sorry - gotta do it)

$40k is a pretty great price.

So close to F150 territory it might cause me to rethink my next purchase.

I would be curious to know this as well.

Looked at '15 Sport priced at 37k CDN today.

Just some dumb regular crap everyone else has
Wow OP! Damn nice truck. I'd buy one if I could get it in my garage, but the Taco just fits as it is. You did great on your trade. I bought my 06 AC brand new in '06 for $23K OTD (4x4, V6, AC,...) and sold it 8 years later for $17.6K. So yes, they hold their value very well. Congrats.

Leaving the world of the Taco - went to local stealer for a different off road vehicle and they offered me $24,000 for my 2012 White Extended cab taco - Off Road edition with 64,000 miles. I was out the door for $30,500 so I drive that truck for 4 years and $6,500 dollars. ZERO repairs - just maintenance / oil changes. Rock Solid truck.

Nice truck. If I ever need to get a new truck, Tundra is at the top of my list. Bought the factory wheels and tires from a guy who got a '16 to put on my dads '08. That '16 was nice, and they are definately more comfy.

Nice truck! Sure that you will enjoy the 5.7. Enjoy my tacoma but the power limitations sometimes make you think. Enjoy the power and the larger cab.

I make it work with three, but I understand the sentiment. I would have (and still may) gone full size if we hadn't picked up a Toyota Sienna to use as the family taxi.

The Tacoma has the most confounding backwards resale of any vehicle. It literally statistically has the best resale out of any vehicle sold in the USA. I am generally against buying new vehicles because of depreciation loss, but it was actually cheaper to buy new than a year or two used, which makes no sense whatsoever. The Tundra is a gorgeous truck and I understand the situational need, but it isn't going to hold value anywhere close to the Tacoma.
