Interesting - if you go to Toyota's web site and build a Tacoma (with an NYC zipcode), you can't get a 4 cyl DC - it makes you pick a regular or access cab.

In the past, when playing around with the build function, I have noticed that if you put a Texas zipcode in, you have a lot more choices.

Does anyone know why this is and would it be possible to order a Texas build and get it delivered to NY or NJ?

Each sales zone chooses the car features they want to stock, and then the website directs you to choose what they most likely have in stock. My truck had to be specially ordered by the PO, because in the Midwest they think you either go 5 lug or 4x4...

ID guess because they are being built in texas now thats why possibly their are more choices. I seen a white dbl cab 2 weeks ago it looked goofy as hell they are ugly.
