I get what you’re saying, but where I’m at we have Ford,Chevy/GMC, and Ram dealerships all within 10 miles.

Closest three Toyota dealerships are 51,53, and 55 miles away. Still a crazy number of Tacomas here.
BTW, I went to the 55mile dealership to pick up my Toyota Certified ‘21 SR SX.

Yup, Toyota has been selling over 200k a year for the last 5 years.

    all tore up already
Last year toyota sold 216k tacomas in usa. In that same year audi sold 196k vehicles in usa. More common to see a 2023 tacoma than a 2023 audi. Welcome to the club

I do notice more Tacomas on the road than before, however, I still haven’t seen another Trail Edition in the wild around the Baton Rouge, LA area.

Love my Tacoma and Toyotas in general but I'm no fan of the Toyota dealers. They think they're selling gold. Went to get a Rav4 for my daughter. Dealer wanted $3500 over msrp...... lmbo! We bought a CX5 1/2 mile away at the Mazda dealer for msrp. I know this is a Tacoma thread but the CX5 is way way ahead of the Rav4. On another note I didn't know Toyota has a partnership with Mazda. Her loan on the CX5 is with Toyota Financial Services.

No money, all went to truck...
This is why I laugh when people say Toyota sales will drop of they don't start redesigning to match Ford, Chevy, etc...

Tacomas will always be one of the top selling trucks forever.

The one that mildly irks me the most is the "missing vowels" trend i.e. Collective is CLLCTV etc. More for brand names and whatnot, but still.

Honestly, I do kind of miss that comradery from owning a first-year Scion.

Then again, I went from 10 years of Scion Waves to now 8 years of motorcycle waves!

So true. It's like the Taco should be the Maui island mascot. Every model, type, color and options possible. Almost as popular as board shorts.

Toyota could take a loaf of shit and stick wheels and a Tacoma nameplate on it, and they'd sell millions of them based on peoples knowledge of Toyotas from years ago. Thats why if you own one now , you will get good coin for it in the future.

Over 1.6 million 3rd Gens manufactured to date. Lord knows how many 1st and 2nd Gens. see them all over Colorado, everywhere, as well as plenty of 4Rs of every Gen, and quite a number of old Hiluxs of various Gens still running around, too!

Bought my wife a CX-5 a couple of years ago…. We both love it. Didn’t care much for the look or feel of the RAV4’s and she thought a 4Runner was too big.

Today at the grocery store, they are doing construction and have a small section of the parking lot blocked off and only has about 15 to 20 spots. When l came out to my truck, ironically there was one 1st Gen, two 2nd Gens, and three 3rd Gens all in that little section.
