Don't be mad because you are the douche. I am looking for thoughts and opinions about a project--you get upset because someone questions you or disagrees. Sorry you had your feelings hurt. Like I said day-dreaming

This I know, and probably will be the swap, but we are kicking around ideas here.

And they sound really good for a 6 cylinder

My 2.5L is still good, no smoke or major issues, it just eats the shit out of gas (smells of gas as well). Not really a problem for a weekend get around, but it needs a new motor. Not, right now either, I am just trying to prepare myself for when it happens.

Thank you sir, I stand corrected. What would a project be if it were not a PITA?? These are thoughts and ideas......just looking for responses/feedback. And as far as the "sand" comment is concerned.....i was in Edisto SC last week and the surf was rough so I may be stuck with a little sand in some places but that is none of your business. Douche.

But really....how bad could it be if you had everything from a donor vehicle?

Not too much worried about body armor (after all, it will be an old jeep by the time i'm done with the swap). Just got new Pro Comp wheels, Cooper Tires, and have enough lift for now. Lockers, axels, stuff like that would be nice, but not necessity off the bat. My engine is dying and I would like to replace it. I've read countless swap stories in Jp, Petersens, Jeepforum, ect. Just looking for something different.
