Check this out, only 50K on mine, at this rate I expect it to last forever, and I wheel it too.

nada....maybe a license plate one day & BA bumpers
I get 22mpg at 70mph/2k revs (approx on the revs)
the best Ive gotten is 25mpg at 55mph/1500 revs (approx on the revs)
    & at 60mph & 1750 revs (approx on the revs) I get 24mpg

I have 16 in rims btw, & live at 4200 feet which helps gas mileage but decreases horsepower

Moab Utah, I go every year. Camped at Kanes Creek for a week this year and ran a different trail each day. Check this out as we head towards Hamburger hill.

Challenge accepted. I’ll likely pull 3 tanks this Sunday. All interstate. We’ll have to compare them to your 40 mile 1-way down hill to Lakeview calculated figures.

So I'm about to buy a truck for the first time. It's a 2011 tacoma trd,m v6 4.0, perfectly kept. Every service needed at every point at the dealership and has records of everything possible. Single owner. It has Fox total chaos suspension all around, skid plate through the entire belly of the car, and everything else seen in pics. The only thing it has 190000 miles. But he only wants 20k, kbb states truck without upgrades is still worth 17k-19k. And this is in southern California if that matters. Comes with Jack that goes on the roof rack, gauges, things that air down the tires to a perfect psi, straps, extra parts he has from upgrades. And a off road warehouse bag for all the gauges and stuff. its a non-snow truck so thats a plus
price wise- that's a toss up (if I were to sell mine, it would be for no less than 15k with 350k miles on it & I am totally stock)
so that kinda sounds like a good deal bud
all that extra stuff sounds good too

what color is she? hows the body & paint? interior condition? smoker/non-smoker owner?
check out all the wheel bearings & drive train components for wear-n-tear
if you want to be ultra safe, get an oil sample & get it tested to make sure the motor is in proper working order
(pay to have an oil change done & pull sample oil then)
better to spend extra $100 on oil change & rush oil analysis when buying a nearly 10 year old auto with 200k miles on for $20k

if all is good, offer the seller $17.5k & wait for a counteroffer
    good luck truck hunting

about a year ago I drove from Medford to Chiloquin (roughly 100 miles with ups n downs on sr140) I got 24mpg then
kept it under 2k revs & cruise control at 60 most of the 100 miles

did not know I issued a challenge
    but okay :)

I live in Moab and rode Hamburger Hill on my XR600. Another guy was on a Ducati V-Twin and one guy on a DR250. At this point, I would NOT take my truck there. Looks like you are appropriately protected with bumpers, rock sliders, and probably skid plates. Maybe someday I'll hit some mean trails with my Tacoma. Or... once I pick up my 1994 Toyota Pickup from New Mexico and put an engine in it, I'll just romp that instead.

Hamburger hill was brutal, had to winch 2 different times. Truck is fully skidded, LCA, diff skids and and ARB air lockers too. Tacoma did a fantastic job going through it.

Sweet! What does OCI mean? 5K miles every OCI?

I've owned my 2010 since September 2009 and have less than 110K miles!

I've been going every 7K miles on Mobil 1 full synthetic for about 25K; Switching to 5K intervals at 110K...
