Adding the URD short throw shifter, replacing the T/O bearing with one from URD, and putting in a new clutch while dropping the tranny.....very excited to get rid of the chirp. Also replacing the tranny fluid with redline MT90.

Couldn't wait to put in the short throw so I went out to the driveway and put it in. Test drive was awesome!!! I recommend the S/T kit from URD. Super easy to put in (think it took me about 45 min.) Shifts feel better than stock, nice and crisp. I was worried about reverse b/c i read someones post about being difficult to get into reverse, but it was no different than before. URD...hats off to you for great products and service. Gadget @ URD is very helpful, thank you sir. You can't go wrong with the shift it IMO.!

Thanks. I almost thought of getting rid of that grille, but i have gotten a lot of compliments on it. I think I may try to Satoshi it and give it a deep dish look, I think that would be killer.

Update: New shift lever from Coupe. 9 1/2", "solid" shift lever. He removes the inner rubber bushing and adds a hard epoxy to "glue" them together. My shifter used to wiggle bad while it was in gear. Now everything is very crisp and clean. If you are having problems with your shifter, get in touch with Coupe, he does a great job with these.

I don't think the monsters come in 17" I might be wrong but I got mine from Rimzone in NC. Shipped mounted and balanced ready to bolt on. Good company to deal with customer service was great.

Well, it's been a while since i've done anything to the truck. I just ordered a shakle flip kit from ATO, and later on today going to order a full OME kit, with Dakars. My rear springs are SHOT, and instead of just replacing the rear shocks and springs i am going to go with the whole set-up. I did a little reading on the Dakars, as far as stiffness goes, and I thought that the shackle flip would give a little extra coushin, + a little more height. I have been going back and forth between the 5100's and eibach's or the OME, and I think the OME is a better fit. Wish me luck.

Oh yeah.......any advice, do's, don'ts are appreciated. I will probably be installing myself when I get the kit, and the only other lift I installed was on my 97' TJ (and that wasn't really hard).
