I ordered it off ebay when I bought the truck. I have never seen another one like it since. Stull enterprises or industries (something along those lines) is where it came from. It was chrome but I painted it black. I actually have two. The first was damaged during shipping. I had the other one powder coated and still have yet to put it on. I will probably end up selling this one that is on the truck now.

Shackle flip kit should be here Friday :woot:, Dakars on back order may be another week or so :pout:.
Thinking about a U-bolt flip as well, and axle shims.?

Nice build. I'll have to watch the shackle flip, I'm still deciding between that and 63" chevy swap.

So you have the URD TSK? how did that go, I seriously need to do it. cricket factory under my rig. lol

I had someone else do that for me. While I was at it i put in a new clutch and had the fly wheel resurfaced. I have not herd a peep since, and that was probably two years+ ago. The "cricket factory" drove me nuts. I would recommend it.

Hope you are enjoying it. Where to next?

My cousin went from Outer Banks NC to Kodiak then to Hawaii. Last time I spoke with him, he said he wanted to go back to Kodiak. He loved it up there.

Hopefully San Diego or Elizabeth city, nc next. I def love being up here tho, the flying is amazing around here. It will be boring flying anywhere else, but not living on an island again will be nice. It's def one hell of an experience and I'm glad that my wife and I chose it. Not very many people can say they have live and flown up here. I've go to fly and deploy to some crazy and gorgeous places.

Worked on the rear end today. As of right now I am roughly 25.75-26" on the rear end.

Sneak peak of the shackle flip:

I'll post better pics when I can get to a computer.

So I have the lift installed. I didn't take any before numbers because my springs and such were so shot, the numbers wouldn't mean anything.

    Before:

    After:

I read a ton on here before I did the install, I believe that made it that much easier. When I started to tear apart the rear end it seems as if I had done it before somewhere. I didn't take as many photos as I wanted too while installing but I did get a few. This is just before the point of no return when I cut out the factory shackle hanger.

Here is one with the hanger removed:

The rivets were not bad to get out. I cut the two on the side of the frame off with a sawzall. Then, since i wasn't going to use them any more, cut the hanger itself just before the curve for the bottom of the frame. After that, the lower rivets were removed with an angle grinder. once they were gone, they were center punched and drilled through. I drilled the center of each one out 4 times starting with 1/8", 1/4",3/8",1/2" (i think that was it).

Rear end being put back together:

Getting the front end of the rear spring into the hanger wasn't that bad. I read where some had issues getting them in. I used a rubber mallet on the back of the spring and then used a spud wrench to line up the bushing sleeve with the hanger holes.

Pic with both sides done showing the shackle flip:

The truck drives MUCH better now. Especially off the start, and going through the gears. No more axle wrap issues from the worn out springs.

This is mid install of the front:

I don't have any pics of the LR UCA's going in or installed. The bolt for the UCA that needs to come out was probably the hardest part of the whole install. I managed to get it out without cutting, and even reinstalled it from the front side. A hammer and long narrow punch are a big help in getting that bolt out. I also did not reinstall the factory sway bar.

I ran out of time for the brake lines, so I still have a little work to do yet, but here is how it sits now:

I picked up a roof rack from sutton (thanks buddy). It has a little rake to it but I think overall it came out great.

Trucks looking goood. Guess that I've got some competition around the plants now..lol. I just changed everything out to Icon on my truck over the summer and swapped the LR uppers to TC, much better then the ToyTec lift. Maybe I'll see you this this fall outage down there.
