Me? No. They said they would be there. All up to them.

Maybe they will, maybe they won't. We will see.

    @OZ-T yeah I know.

Hangers came today. They did a good bit. Should be done Wednesday.

Holy F ing last minute cluster. They wife decided to tell me she wanted arches in the dining area. So I spent the last several hours doing this:
    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

She also didn't like the tall doorways (cased openings) into the living room and hallway, so I had to frame down headers to normal door height. I wanted to leave them, I thought it would look better with the 9' and 11' ceilings. You can see one in the last picture..

My father in law said: "they control 90% of the money, and 100% of the pu$$y, so what are you going to do?!"

I about died when he said that. You'd have to know him. I've never heard such things come from this man. It floored me.

Amazing build... this makes me want to build verses buy... but I know the stress of building and with the last few years of work I've done I think the stress would kill me lol

I could put about 34 more pictures on here, but you get the idea. Hangers are done, finishers are starting tomorrow.

I also had someone come and start caulking the outside, getting ready for paint.

And if you get a chance pull up "uneasy rider 88" by Charlie Daniels. It came up on the Pandora radio tonight and it is now on my favorite list.

I'll put it here for you anyway:

Looks great. Exciting time for you right now, it will be done before you know it. Big visual things happen quick at this point.

I've been able to see the finished product for a while now, my wife is a different story. She could pick out outfits for my daughter, not even looking in her closet, but she can't figure out how this will look.

On another note. Had a little accident today (not me, someone else). Hit the eve with the skid steer. Another f'ing thing I have to fix:

    image.jpg

I'm pissed becuase it was finished, and perfect. I wasn't really that mad until I remembered the screws that are under the wall flashing. How am I supposed to get those out?!.

Oh yeah, I'm out of metal to fix the fascia too. I might have to buy a whole new freaking roll. Not to mention cut it, break it, and replace it.

That piece that is messed up is a solid piece that turns the corner and goes back to the main roof. I really would like to avoid so many joints on the FIRST FREAKING THING YOU SEE when you pull up to the house. So I will probably take it off and re do more than I need to.

Moving to a house with a cement pad out back that I'll be able to put a shed on. Current planning on this, any thoughts?
All I need space for is a workbench, toolbox, two bookshelves of tools, and a mower.

7x7 is pretty small and will fill up real quick. Tape that out on the ground and see if you can fit everything in it. You could even mock up your benches and mower with some cardboard.

I did a scale paper model and after changing it around a few times itll work, Once we move in I will have to decide how I want to run power from the house, put a power strip in, along with some basic lighting. I like electrical work so itll be fun.

Is 7x7 the size of the slab or can you go bigger? In this case, bigger is always 100% of the time better.

Yep, get the thing built and your stuff moved in and then acquire more stuff (always happens) and then you are SOL.

Of course, think he is trying to use an already poured slab and maybe trying to keep costs down.

There's ready a slab there, I don't know the exact size but I'm certain a 7x7 will fit, when we move in if it's big enough for the 7x10 I may get that but I'm not planning on getting any more large footprint tools.

    Back on topic.

I couldn't find the leak on the old waterline that was there so I put in a new one this weekend. ~520 foot of 1" Pex.
