So does gas, old habits are hard to break! I know I should do something more environmentally friendly.

Does this AC schedule look like “normal” temps? One of my friends who is an HVAC tech said that he was “taken aback”by the temps.

Looks exactly like mine except I have my AC set to 70 at night instead of 68

Looks like it’s set pretty low to me. Maybe you need better insulation. My settings keep the house pretty cold actually.

That seems pretty low! I don't have a fancy app but my daytime temp is 74 and night is about the same - maybe I'll drop it down to 73 when we go to bed just to get some cool air blowing. When i get up I turn off the HVAC, open the windows then turn on the whole house fan for 20-30 minutes. Gets the house down to low 60's, then close everything up. Don't need the AC until 3 or 4pm.

My other half is always cold and I radiate heat like the sun. I use only a sheet and she has a lightweight down comforter. Crazy.

    Same here.
Mornings have been mid to upper 60's and humid lately. No opening the windows to give the AC a break for me!
Replace the down comforter with a weighted blanket and we're the same. I can't stand being warm when I'm sleeping.

We set ours at 75 and leave it there. If it cools down enough we shut the AC off and open the windows and door at the back of the house until we go to bed.

It would probably feel cooler if we weren’t at 70%+ humidity inside. During the day lately we’ve been mid 90’s but with the heat index it’s 100-110.

I wish we could turn off the HVAC, Sunday night the air handler iced up and in less than an hour the house went from 72 to 77 at 10:30 PM. It’s part of the curse of living in the humid south, once summer hits it doesn’t cool off, even at night, unless you’re on a boat on the water, even then it’s iffy.
