Am I dumb, or is that the inklings of a basement? Maybe its the angle.

 

Just curious. It seems that new homes have rooms that are small. How large is the master bedroom?

 

We already beat that horse to death. LOL.

 

I remember him saying there wasn't one but the angle of the photo makes it look much lower than the surrounding dirt.

Formwork is only 4' high , concrete wall will be about 3'. Walls get infilled with compacted granular fill then 6" of foam under a 4" thick heated concrete slab . Top of slab (floor height) is top of foundation wall

 

You guys will catch on when its all buried

 

master is 12'6" x 17' plus 2 / 6' double closets and has a 9' x 11'6" ensuite with vanity , toilet , bath and 3'6" x 4' walk in shower

 

Will there be a garage?

 

LOL. It's hard to explain things in layman's terms sometimes but backfilled and top of slab at top of form is pretty easy to visualize.

FYI , the ensuite is the smaller rectange closest to the camera , the master is the next rectangle
