Great stuff. Use it on most stain grade trim. It's wax like in nature for those who are curious. Excess wipes off easily with cloth rag.

Any recommendations (brand or specific model) for electric or gas oven/ranges? I need to replace an aging GE profile that's on it's last leg. I've had good luck with an LG refrigerator and dryer, thinking of going with another LG...

Tired of fed ex dropping off my packages at the neighbors. Hopefully this will help. Still gotta get a cap for the post but I have covid so can’t go to Lowe’s. It’s 2’ in the ground with concrete lol. My mailbox is a few houses down so that doesn’t help with them locating my house.

    edit. Pic won’t load. Brb

We had a GE gas range that we rather liked at our old house. Not sure if they still make it but I'll provide a link....not sure if it'll work or not though as Lowes no longer sells that model. But it was a five burner convection oven.

    https://www.lowes.com/pd/GE-5-Burne...ant-Slate-Common-30-in-Actual-30-in/999911541

We have electric now and it works...much prefer gas though. When we do change it out another GE is probably what we will go with

I have this stove right now. It's OK, but I don't think I'd buy it again. The center burner is pretty useless and the griddle is made of the finest grade of easily scratched aluminum chinesium. I bought a center grate so you could slide pans around and that's an improvement for day to day use. When the stove was about 6 months old one of the control knobs got misaligned some how and you couldn't turn off the spark igniter. I had to take the front control panel apart and was unimpressed by the quality. The stove is just cheesy tin held together with sheet metal screws.

I'm not sure what I'll replace it with. It is about two years old now, so I'll be having to figure that out in another year or two.

Vaulted roof rafters all in , cut to match truss overhangs and strapping / counter-strapping installed . We sheeted far side of this section this afternoon and will sheet near side in the morning , next step is the posts and timber work that frames the front entry , extends the exterior rake wall and frames the carport , then we can tie in all the roof sheeting on this end of the house and waterproof it

Odd cause that's the exact opposite experience we had for three years before moving. Griddle was cast iron and worked just fine. Didn't scratch. Middle burner worked great temp wise for anything we would make on it (eggs, pancakes, quesadillas, grilled cheese, ect) Do agree with having the grate would have been nice but we used the griddle a ton. (And they want a stupid amount imo to buy it separate) Can't comment on the knob other than we we didn't have that issue. Build quality was fine too. Same sheet metal that is on every other sub 1k (and probably bit more) range/dryer/washer/ect.

Question for any HVAC, Plumber, Oil Burner experts. I have my oil boiler (forced hot water system) serviced annually and it's working just fine. A few years back the tech had this device that he hooked up to the drain spigot near each of my circulator pumps. It looked like a tire pressure gauge, but it allowed air out, but not water. He used it to bleed the system with the pumps running. Does anyone know what this device is called? I'd like to pick one up so I can bleed it myself.

Mark, You can get an automatic air vent with a 3/4 hose adapter and screw it on.

    One of these?

Don't the need to stay vertical to work? There's one on my hydronic heater in my garage.

It looked like a tire gauge, but with the 3/4 thread. I'm not sure what the measurements were, but I could hear the air coming out as the water was circulating.

it was most likely something home made like I use to release air from the water source heat pumps a 12 inch 3/4 hose with male and female adapter with a pressure gauge and auto air vent.

I don't recall multiple extensions. Does that do the same thing?
