There is a membrane underneath. Its so soft in spots I just used my hand to move the sand to expose it.

 

Trees, trees, trees. Around $1500 in trees and compost over the last little while..........lost count. Approaching 50 trees of all sizes we have planted. The back area of our property was stripped by the builder and we want the shade, the beauty, the sound, smell and visual buffer from the neighbor.

My carport timbers are all done , been dodging rain and working inside but we had a couple days of sun and finished up today . Monsoon hits tonight so the gable framing and carport roof sheeting have to wait for Monday . Tomorrow we're going to prep fascias inside in the dry

 

Got the stump grinder guy coming this evening then its off to Lowes tomorrow morning to grab the lumber for the next 80' of fence!

 

I could use that guy!

 

I found him on Facebook market. Lots of people do it. I went with the only one that said he was insured.

 

I hired a guy once to grind a couple stumps in the old days (1988 or so) well worth it.

Just saying I have a single stump right now wish he would magically show up and turn it to pre-mulch

 

Let the digging begin! Lots and lots of concrete coming in.

I'm tearing it out........................but stopped by granny..........first grand son on the way

 

I pulled the hydronic baseboard furnace and hot water heater from the garage months ago, finally got around to removing the chimney. Not the best flashing job, had to replace a few planks. Took the opportunity to add an exterior outlet.
