Yeah, hotels actually. The standard hotel in Japan is quite a different experience- room just large enough for the bed and one foot walk way to the dresser. Said toilet is in standup shower, no kidding.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Ineffective, or refreshing on a hot, sticky day?

I haven’t experienced quite this bad, this gooogle pic isn’t far off

To be fair, Japanese shower rooms are in a different league. The one in my apartment had a control panel before the sliding glass entry, could set the floor and air temp. Felt like a spa experience every day.

They are for hurricane shutters. That type is a corrugated metal type that screws into those threaded holes. Mine are slide shut shutter types. Pretty much every house is required by code to have them, older homes are grandfathered in but most homes are upgraded because of ease of installation.

Maybe? Maybe it depends on what plumbing you have down there.
Can you look at the camera view anytime? Or is it only when someone "rings" the bell that the camera activates?

Ok. I'm considering either Ring or Google and I had a wild though that maybe they wouldn't turn on the camera until the button was pushed.

only thing with ring you might have to get separate device to ring the doorbell. At least on mine you had to bypass the doorbell.
    I dont know about google.

We have the ring also. It’s ok but I’m looking for something that has a more clear picture. Ring is live but you can’t record or look back at things unless you pay the monthly fee. It’s not much. I didn’t pay so I can only look at live.

Throwing another contender into the... ring (ha!) a coworker just bought a couple of Wyze Cam V3. He had a video from 3am that was in full color and looked like it was slightly overcast at 3pm instead. It was pretty incredible. I need to replace one of my cameras and am strongly considering jumping over to them.

We don't have a regular doorbell, so I imagine I'll be buying the whole doorbell.

Wayze isn't exactly compatible with Google Assistant or Google Nest. It would have to have a wireless bridge.

That's what we want, plus, to ring to any computers and to our Google Nest Hubs.

Pull your baseboard then use the longest continuous wall/bottom plate as a straight edge to shove the pieces together against.

When you snap each individual piece together do the side (short) edge first then kinda lift the whole new row up to get the angle to snap the long edge together working from the corner out

Resist the temptation to pound the pieces together lol that’ll mess your edges up and shouldn’t be necessary you just gotta finesse the angle of the locking system

Leave 1/4” all around for expansion then reinstall your baseboard

also don’t buy the cheap stuff lol
