    No fees.

It's funny though, this does clearly demonstrate why mounds are pretty much required for new construction. They are a darn good thing with a high water table. When we were looking at the place...I was like "this mound is stupid"

o ring must be either missing , torn or screws that connect the riser sections are not tight enough . They are intended to be waterproof so you don't get ground or surface water into the effluent or pump chambers

Lucky. It was $50 to the county yearly for who knows what. I paid $150 to a company who "inspected" it every year. The fully they did the county paperwork too, and the 150 extra included any other service call fees

More than paid for itself one year when. I had a problem with so e airator thingy and she came out like four times

Glad I have a standard gravity drain system now

whatever you do , don't pump the tanks out past about 1/4 full , with high ground water levels , the tank can become buoyant and actually float . On the flip side , you don't want the water to be too high either , by your description it sounds like you have a solids / effluent tank and separate pump tank . The normal solids / effluent tanks are 2 chamber with a wall in the middle . Majority of the solids are supposed to remain in the first chamber with whatever gets over the wall settling in the second chamber . Its supposed to only be solids-free effluent making it to the pump chamber to then be discharged to the field . Pumping solids to the field can lead to clogging and premature field failure . If your water level remains above the baffle between the solids chambers , they can pass to the pump chamber and will be pumped to the field

Yes separate pump tank, with only a piss hole size inlet. No idea what is happening at this exact moment but no solids were blowing in there past the cylindrical plastic sieve filter (in the secondary settling tank) when I had the lids off.

Finally stopped raining. Just drain baby, drain!!

Throw a tarp over the riser. May help keep some rain away from it until this monsoon season ends, if ever it ends.

I thought about that. Really won't help as all the soil is supersaturated

Good news - this AM dry and windy.

I have an older, plastic version of this - I probably paid $20 bucks for it.

It works fine - you need the patience to set up the stock in the jig correctly, and the patience to run the saw slooooowly to make the cut.

I like the clamp on this one - I may modify mine.
