I dug around all over the web. Seems like glue required shingle by shingle plus lip not into prevailing wind. With special long nails not too deep.

Framing 98% done. Confirmed dryer vent and drain locations today, will work on plumbing this week after work.

Yup. Not great, but its better than putting them in the kitchen where the current hookups are.

You may want to look at getting that cap/crown repaired, those cracks could lead to very expensive repairs down the road if not addressed.

Its hard to tell in the pics, but those arent cracks in the crown. Its just layers of mortar that wasnt really smoothed over well. Regardless I still plan on having the chimney swept and inspected within a few months so Ill get an evaluation then. Heres a better pic.

Patience, spackle (I think that's the right term?) and a abominable will to sand for hours.

Nah. Two coats of joint compound. Quick sand in between each. Knockdown texture from a can after that. Wasn’t bad.

Grouted the floor. Big stuff is done! Now trim, caulk, vanity, toilet, mirror and towel bars. Getting close.

yeah, made it look like it never happened. Was catching up on posts since I had rona and saw the finished job after I posted. Our basement had shitty wood paneling in it when we moved in along the bottom 3' of the wall and it was alllllll liquid nails'd to the drywall. Spent the better part of 3 days sanding compound to fix all the rough spots. If you look closely you can still see the spots, but its hard to get smooth back to smooth after that much damage. Next time I'll pay someone to deal with it.
