Obviously not @IPNPULZ but the contractor that built my house left two Niles speakers (easier to leave them than to repair the holes) in my theater room ceiling and I added two more Monoprice speakers. Being powered by an Onkyo TX-NR616. :)

Black grout is interesting! I bet it turned out with a nice contrast!

    (5) Klipsch Pro 180 RPC-LCR w/Klipsch 120SW sub and a Yamaha RX-V6A Receiver, Wattbox power conditioner and a RF universal remote w/RF transmitter.

Also we also ran wires for 7.2 if we decide to go that route which are located by the rear speakers....

I think it would have been easier to rip out all the affected drywall, and hang new sheets.

But, on the bright side - you got 3 days of practicing your mudding technique! ;)

I hardly ever dry "sand" drywall anymore. Three large sponges and a bucket of clean water.

    Hired a dude.

    $90, gave him $100

He used 4 nails per (rather than 2), and glue/caulk. Not going anywhere. We found all but one shingle. He had a match. Looks perfecc

I’ll keep the thread updated as time moves on. We are months out from closing and first priority is septic.

Quoting myself here....build.com is having 10% off right now so i grabbed 6 two panel shaker style doors for about $1k out the door. Not pre-hung so I'll have to spend a few hours with my router & jigs, but a helluva lot better than the $180+tax+shipping per door I was finding a few weeks ago.

Handles & hinges were taken care of by gift cards Santa brought me :santa:

Took a break from the bathroom to work on our daughter’s nursery. She’s not due till the end of April but wanted to get this done so momma can start nesting after the carpets are cleaned at the end of the month
