    Double top plate 2x12 headers 2x6 headers for interior, double lvl beams for cut out for stairs to basement with Simpson hangers and squash blocks everywhere needed.

    It's code here anyway...I decided to over build it. There is 1" apoxy coated rebar doubled in the footer and 3/4" apoxy coated verticles every 64" and fully grouted for the foundation

    Pennsylvania( great northeast) I built it out of block because of my budget and knowledge. Could have formed it in Simons panels but the time wasn't on my side and renting them was about 2000 dollers. My whole foundation with 12" concrete block 64 x 32 . 9' high cost me about 15000 dollers ant that's with my floor poured and a 24'x8' porch that will act as my wood room.

    I start siding this weekend. I was going to tyvek tape my seams and cut strips of ice/ and water for around my windows and doors. Not sure if that's the same as what you are referring to though
