Found a great deal on a gently used vanity for my master bathroom on Marketplace. I’d been searching for a while because the air vent is under the sink and I needed a vanity that has ample opening underneath to allow for that. All I had before was a very small wall-mounted sink, so this is a huge upgrade. It’s solid too, all wood and not MDF. It also has two drawers that fill up the entire front but the sliders are a little wonky. After I get those replaced and add a backsplash, it should be good to go!

IMG_7867.jpg I have another home owner asking me to fix footers this same ‘pavilion’ contractor has screwed up. A 14’x28’ shed, I see the footers are far out of square. I measure diagonally: 30’-10”one way, 33’-4” the opposite. Only 2’-6” difference, 1’-3” off… not too bad…
In the photo, the black chalk line on footer is square

Didn't realize outdoor showers were coming back in style. I just finished plumbing mine with hot and it's great for midnight excursions and washing off in the day. The original intent was washing out wetsuits/sandy feet so a 4x4 horizontal is mounted across the top to dry wetsuits or towels etc. Should have finished this sooner as the sideyard is far more entertaining now.

How is that even possible. Ray Charles could have seen how out that was. Ripping out brand new foundation work isn't something you get to do often though. lol

Completely agree with you. I worked construction trades most of my life. Then at 50 I went back to college and stepped into public education. People would scoff at me for teaching fractions using a tape measure and geometry using a speed square in 4th grade. At the end of every unit I taught a project based learning unit on how to apply those math skills by building things. Once my coworkers saw what the kids could do they didn’t scoff any more. It kills me when people either don’t know or don’t care about applying simple math.

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
sadly this is not exclusive to the Northeast. There’s unfortunately tons of people doing shady things taking advantage of people all over the country…

(I don’t have any affiliation with the general contractor, referred by a friend to these people looking for help finishing tile because they didn’t want him back.. stuff like this throughout)IMG_5474.jpg

I went there to see it per the home owners request. I checked dimensions/square and layed out square as you can see in photo. The contractor is digging/pouring new footers to accommodate a square structure. I will then take over erecting the shed.

On another note, you do excellent work.
