Amazon has one for $109 that you can hook up to a shopvac. Unless you do drywall all the time, it will last

The woman doesn’t like the wood trim or doors so……. Prep, prime and paint.
    IMG_2806.jpg

Now there are 4 of these doors in this gym room, front and back along with full trim and baseboards. It took me 11 hours just for this project. replaced all the door hardware as well.
    IMG_2808.jpg

Also didn’t like the fan so that was replaced with a light, of course it wasn’t on a switch.
Previous owner did a nice job with the junction box though

Now on to the rest of the basement.

FYI, Home Depot has Bosch 800 dishwashers cheaper in store than online. The sale is good for a couple more days.

They average about 1200 on sale. I've been eyeing them along with a couple of the Miele's. That price is the best I've seen so far.

The mid-grade and fancier ones are easily that much.

I hate washing dishes so even my little apartment style dishwasher is a Godsend. Also uses less water so that's a plus for this old house I'm in.

...I think I paid about $450 for my mid level KitchenAid about 4 years ago, though my buddy golfs with the president of the chain I bought it from.

I worked in the service industry and the motto was "We do not repair we replace". Easier on the call backs. In my house it is always repair. Only appliance I have replaced in 30 years is the Refer due to the door water dispenser not being serviceable. With basic tools you can fix most problems. YOUTUBE.

The bottom weather strip of the garage door froze to the floor during our deep freeze last week. The screws holding it in were at the end of their life.

I have a 2+ car garage which is x2 deep, so sort of a small warehouse, and the difference between the concrete floor in the front have where vehicles part and drip salt water, compared to the back half, which looks new, just dirty, is night and day.

That expansion tank has a clear bubble on the bottom that is supposed to show you if water gets past the bladder too. I just put the same one on my boiler 2 years ago. Not sure how well they work because mine hasn't broken yet. Your method is probably more foolproof.

I have a very similar boiler setup overall.
