100% nice job there. Agree with you on the rocks, I got a garden edge line needing an update which is similar I may look at when it is not 975degrees here.

No pictures as it isn't necessarily exciting, but I have about 16 green giants on a berm in the rear of my property for some privacy. I put a soaker hose down by the base of the trunks and weaved as best I could, was tired of spending an hour out there watering. Left the hose in the sun for a couple hours to loosen up, hooked up the water line, and set a timer for 20minutes. I'm upset I didn't do this sooner, my goodness what a not involved task.

Found something interesting. When they built the addition (1993) to the house (1922), they didn't actually attach it to the house. There is a 2" gap, and they "attached" it using the siding, shingles, and drywall. The studs, joists, and trusses aren't actually attached to the wall.

I found something similar in my house, they just butted the addition against the existing stucco and tied it together with drywall.

isn't it crazy how far one can really take it, and still have a house that's standing?

Yeah, it's not fun. Squirrels didn't seem to care though. There was a nest 4ft up from the floor in between the old and the addition, right next to the tar coated wire.
